Evys Piña
Interior Design Intern
University of Texas at Austin – School of Architecture
Evys is an Interior Design Intern splitting her time between GFF’s Dallas Office and Austin Office. She supports the Interior Design Studio across multiple project types and is actively contributing to the firm’s upcoming entry for the AIA Bark and Build competition. Evys focuses on solving complex spatial puzzles, emphasizing material craft and the way small details come together to shape a cohesive interior experience.
She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with minors in Media Studies and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, where she is recognized as a Dell Scholar. Her early design work includes co-designing a fabricated habitat exhibition for the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Evys aspires to dissect and reassemble design elements creatively, ensuring that the embodied experience of a space leaves a purposeful, lasting impression on its users. Outside of the studio, she volunteers with IIDA Austin and enjoys crafting custom textile and crochet pieces for local craft markets.
