Amanda Choi

Assoc. AIA

Architectural Professional

Senior Design Studio

Amanda is an Architectural Professional in GFF’s Senior Design Studio, where she supports planning and architecture teams through drawings, renderings, and presentation materials. Her experience at GFF also includes work with the Planning and Civic & Cultural studios, contributing to concept design, community engagement, and early-phase planning strategies. In 2024, her design for Bark + Build was showcased at NorthPark Center.

A graduate of Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, Amanda also studied at Cornell in Rome and earned a minor in Business from the SC Johnson College of Business. Her thesis, Nomadic Pneumatics, examined reusable, deployable, and scalable alternatives to traditional inflatables—research she is preparing to publish. She brings expertise in inflatable and pneumatic structures, developing stitching techniques, connection logics, and material systems that integrate fabric, playfulness, and spatial experimentation into architecture.

Amanda is an active member of AIA Dallas, where she serves on the Golf Committee and participates in the Ladies in CRE program. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, experimenting with fabrication techniques, and traveling.
