John Bunker Sands Wetland Center
The John Bunker Sands Wetland Center serves as the hub of environmental and social interest for the 3,100 acres of man-made wetland habitat on the Rosewood Seagoville Ranch property. The Center provides extensive opportunities for research, education, wildlife observation, and community gatherings. The 5,400 square foot facility is designed to fulfill various roles including a staging and exhibit hall for interactive exhibits, a fully equipped research lab for studying wetland plants and animals, a classroom for hands-on educational activities, an office for the on-site manager, and an observation deck for viewing the wetlands.
