Kara serves as HR Leader at GFF, bringing more than seven years of experience in People Operations across hospitality and private equity-backed technology environments. Her background includes supporting growing organizations through expansion and acquisition, with a focus on building scalable, compliant, and people-centered HR frameworks. She specializes in HR technology, process optimization, and designing systems that enhance the employee experience.

At GFF, Kara focuses on HR strategy and operations that support a multi-office creative practice. She is committed to shaping initiatives that align individual growth with organizational goals, creating clear pathways for development, and fostering a culture where collaboration, innovation, and accountability thrive. Her work is driven by the belief that when people are supported and empowered, both the individual and the organization succeed.

Born and raised in the Dallas area with deep family roots in West Texas, Kara is an active member of the community. She volunteers regularly with Dallas Animal Services and is passionate about advocacy for animals and children. Outside of work, she enjoys community involvement, creative hobbies, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Pancake.
