Public Safety
Over the past 45 years, our practice has partnered with local governments to design architecture that anchors communities and protects public investments. Our deepest civic roots belong to our home base in Dallas, where we have spent decades master planning and designing landmarks across the historic grounds of Fair Park. Beyond vertical structures, our studio has directly shaped the modern landscape of the region through monumental, public-facing initiatives like the Downtown Parks Master Plan and strategic planning frameworks for the Trinity River corridor.
Recently, this foundation has been supercharged by the arrival of our Civic & Cultural practice leaders, Jason Cave and Garrett Barker. Bringing over $250 million in regional civic and public safety construction value , they possess an elite, real-world understanding of municipal needs across every milestone. Together, they guide cities from the earliest, critical phases of stakeholder programming and bond campaign alignment, through precise technical documentation, and into seamless on-site construction administration.
At the core of our unified studio’s philosophy is a simple, enduring truth: it is a profound honor to serve those who serve others. Whether we are designing an environmental education center, an interactive municipal plaza, or a high-performance public safety facility, we dedicate our craft to the people who keep our communities vibrant and secure. We pair this mission-driven focus with strict financial oversight to ensure that every public asset we build balances high architectural ambition with long-term fiscal responsibility.
