Project Brief

The Braden on Fifth is a 345-unit apartment building located on the Pier 1 headquarters campus at the northwest corner of downtown Fort Worth. The seven-story building has a warm material palette with brick and stone detailing against smooth stucco and metal panel surfaces. The leasing office activates the intersection of 5th and Summit with a large expanse of storefront glass while residential stoops promote walkability along the building’s street frontages. To meet the requirements of the Fort Worth Urban Downtown Design Standards the residential stoops connect to a network of wide sidewalks lined with street trees and pedestrian lighting along all surrounding streets. An over one-acre-large luxury amenity terrace is located on top of the podium parking garage structure and features a resort style pool, lounge areas, and drought tolerant landscaping. Conditioned amenity areas are located in a glass jewel box portal that rests on the terrace and provides visual continuity to the outdoor amenities and downtown skyline beyond. The project recently received top honors at the Southeast Building Conference (SEBC) 2019 Aurora Awards: Grand Award for Best Multifamily Housing Community – 5 Stories or More Built For Rent Residential Community of the Year – Multifamily
