The project balances modern urban living with nature through preserved landscaping and thoughtfully planned amenity spaces
Project Brief
Situated in the middle of a larger mixed-use development in the bustling South Austin neighborhood, Alexan Garza Ranch provides a much-needed respite for residents. Nestled among large existing trees and located at the end of the development park, the four-story wood-framed multifamily project is a showpiece for the overall development. As the only multifamily project within the Garza Ranch development, it offers 370 units accompanied by expansive amenity spaces, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a co-working lounge, a hammock and dining breezeway, a large club room, and an open leasing office. Residents can also enjoy two large courtyards and a direct connection to the Violet Crown Trail.
The four-story project wraps around a five-level precast parking garage, which is shielded from view to avoid any visual clutter. A roof deck on level four offers views towards downtown and the Barton Creek greenbelt. The trees and surrounding landscaping are complemented by wood-look siding and local masonry veneer that create the façade.
The design addresses the need for a tranquil living environment within a vibrant urban setting. By integrating extensive amenity spaces and preserving the natural landscape, Alexan Garza Ranch provides a harmonious balance between urban living and nature. The thoughtful layout and design elements create an inviting atmosphere, offering residents a serene retreat with convenient access to both outdoor and city amenities.
