Private Family Office II

A sophisticated blend of solidity and transparency adjacent to the Katy Trail

Project Brief

This Confidential Family Office is a 5-story 25,000 SF office building that sits directly on the Katy Trail. The building is composed of two distinct forms. The first, a carefully articulated pre-cast concrete volume, conceals the internal parking on levels 2 and 3, but dematerializes at the ground level to allow views of the building lobby and a private showroom. The second form, composed of a sensuously curved glass curtain wall, is placed on top of the garage and houses two levels of office. The constraints of the small, but premier site required close collaboration between GFF and the larger development team. Construction will begin mid-2019.
