Ardan West Village

An L-shaped tower with a glowing crown brings height, light, and sophistication to the evolving West Village skyline

Project Brief

Ardan West Village is the second large-scale mixed-use development by Cityplace Company and Forest City Residential in the West Village district of Uptown Dallas. This 2.6-acre full city block will feature a 23-story, 393-unit luxury residential tower along Blackburn, a 150-key Hilton Canopy Hotel on Cityplace West (designed by WDG), and approximately 16,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space to enliven the street frontages and expand the successful tenant mix of West Village. Forest City’s vision for the residential tower is to take another step forward in the quality and sophistication offered to their residents. The intersection of the two wings of the L-shaped tower is marked by a bold glazed shaft, culminating in a lantern of light above the penthouse floor. The building will be the tallest residential tower in the district. The design addresses the need for a high-quality, sophisticated living environment that enhances the urban fabric of West Village. By integrating residential, hotel, and retail spaces, Ardan West Village creates a dynamic and vibrant community. The bold architectural elements and thoughtful design details contribute to the building’s prominence and appeal, offering residents and visitors an elevated experience in one of Dallas’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
