Mockingbird Station

Mockingbird Station was the first of the new generation mixed use developments with a mass transit destination in the Dallas area. The project was completed by a previous developer and design team in 2000. The current Owners hired GFF in 2011 to design building façade updates to improve retail marketability, provide better wayfinding signage and new landscaping all in an effort to enhance the feel and atmosphere of the outdoor spaces. Priority was focused on two internal plaza areas that currently lack energy and life. Evaluating and recommending improvements to the automobile circulation and customer parking were also important considerations in our design work.
