Woodcreek Church – Campus Master Plan

Woodcreek Church, located on a 25-acre site at 3400 E. Renner Road in Richardson, Texas, partnered with GFF to develop an updated master plan addressing their current and projected space needs. The church’s campus includes a mix of no-build areas due to a 100-year floodplain and an existing riparian corridor. The existing facilities encompass approximately 50,000 square feet, including an 800-seat Worship Center, classrooms for children, administrative offices, and various support spaces. GFF’s master plan aimed to optimize the use of space while accommodating the church’s growth. Key features include the expansion of children’s ministry facilities, known as “Kidcreek,” which now features a large two-story family commons area, themed zones based on age groups, and a multipurpose activity room. The design incorporates playful colors and materials to create a welcoming environment for families and children. The master plan also includes improvements to parking, with provisions for overflow capacity on adjacent properties. By addressing these needs, the plan ensures that Woodcreek Church can continue to serve its congregation effectively while fostering a sense of community and connection.
