Rush Creek Church–Mira Lagos

The Church on Rush Creek engaged GFF to update the Master Plan for their Mira Lagos campus, which serves the Grand Prairie and Mansfield communities. The first phase involved extending the existing common gathering area to connect additional children’s classrooms and a new 750-seat Worship Center. The design features vibrant fiber cement paneling combined with natural materials such as stone and wood cladding, inspired by the surrounding site adjacent to Joe Pool Lake.

The newly expanded common area offers space for families to gather before and after services and throughout the week. The exterior materials extend into the interior to create a seamless connection to the outdoors. Landscaped patios and nature trails provide congregants with additional opportunities to enjoy the campus amenities, both inside and out.

The design ensures the campus is not only visually appealing but also functional and inviting for the community. The enhanced green spaces and strategic layout aim to foster a sense of openness and connection to nature, making the campus a welcoming environment for worship and fellowship.
