Project Brief

Situated at the northern edge of Queen Creek’s downtown core, Queen Creek Market serves as a gateway for future development south of Ocotillo Rd while enhancing existing civic infrastructure. The plan creates a central gathering place with a strong focus on pedestrian connectivity, integrating the town library into a cohesive downtown district. Shaded walkways, landscaping, and wayfinding elements encourage exploration, while shared plazas, covered patios, and open spaces support public engagement and economic growth. The development features a mix of retail, dining, office, and residential spaces, fostering a true live-work-play environment. Three four-story apartment buildings provide 203 units, complemented by a detached parking deck. The retail core includes four single-story buildings totaling 27,000 SF, while a three-story office building adds 35,000 SF of workspace. Thoughtful branding, materials, and landscaping pay homage to the area’s agrarian history while introducing a modern, sophisticated design.
