Federales – Deep Ellum

Located at a prominent intersection in the eclectic Deep Ellum neighborhood in Dallas, Sterling Bay is bringing their Federales concept to Dallas. The gritty tequila bar and restaurant concept will feature two retractable skylights, one over the beer garden and bar areas. GFF worked with Sterling Bay’s Chicago-based designer, Studio-K Creative, to develop the Dallas version of the concept to fit in with the eclectic, urban vernacular of Deep Ellum. Exterior design elements include back-lit perforated steel panel cladding and a Kundig-style door system at the pick-up area. The design addresses the need to integrate the Federales concept seamlessly into the vibrant and unique character of Deep Ellum. By incorporating retractable skylights and distinctive exterior elements, the project creates an engaging and dynamic atmosphere that resonates with the neighborhood’s urban charm. The collaboration with Studio-K Creative ensures that the Dallas location maintains the essence of the original concept while adapting to its new setting.
