Laura Cornell, PLA, LEED AP joined GFF in 2023 as an Associate Principal and Director of Landscape Architecture. An award-winning designer and registered Landscape Architect with 21 years of professional experience, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University in 2003. Laura has designed and led a variety of projects including mixed-use projects, multifamily communities, master planned residential communities, and play environments. She has also collaborated with Architects and Planners on several notable land planning and site planning projects.
Laura’s career has given her the opportunity to work on projects in Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Nevada, and California, including dozens of high end single family residential landscapes, and a line of indoor/outdoor furniture. She has also written curriculum for multiple Landscape Architecture courses, served as a jurist for design excellence awards, and has participated in an HOA as a Design Review Board member. Laura has extensive project management, business administration, department management, and design mentoring experience, which she utilizes to lead our team of Landscape Architects in creating memorable places.
