Princeton Municipal Park

Situated within one of the largest mixed-use projects in the fast-growing City of Princeton, Texas, is the 19-acre Princeton Municipal Park project. The GFF Landscape team was directed by the City of Princeton and a high level of community outreach to create a unique outdoor recreational experience with regards to the existing ecology and adjacency to the surrounding new developments including the new Princeton Municipal Center. The residents of Princeton will have the opportunity to enjoy a mile of outdoor trails that connect two ponds with decks, a playground, dog park, outdoor amphitheater and open green all immersed in a native planting-focused landscape design. A major component of this project includes the preservation and enhancement of the existing wetlands as a top priority. Princeton Municipal Park will certainly become the new town center that will also provide the opportunity to host community-building events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, July Spectacular, Fall Festival, and Christmas Tree Lighting.
