Derek is an Architectural Intern in GFF Design’s Fort Worth office, where he supports multifamily projects through Revit model development and technical documentation. His work focuses on maintaining coordinated BIM models, producing construction documents, and helping project teams ensure accuracy and consistency across complex drawing sets.
Derek is currently pursuing his Master of Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, with an expected graduation in May 2026. He earned his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude in 2024, received CAPPA’s Award for Design Excellence and Academic Achievement, completed a Minor in Business Administration, and was named to the Dean’s List throughout his undergraduate studies.
Motivated by clear organization and strong collaboration, Derek enjoys contributing to workflows that help teams move projects forward efficiently. Outside of work, he volunteers through community cleanups, church outreach programs, and local service initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys experiencing art and glasswork, exploring architectural landmarks, and staying active through disc golf, travel, and discovering new restaurants.
