Park Place – Honda of Rockwall
An unconventional take on Honda’s standard kit-of-parts
Project Brief
This suburban dealership located 20 miles East of Dallas on a narrow site South of Interstate-30 is complicated by detention and shared access requirements for a future development to the East.
Sustainable strategies for siting the building with an abundance of North-facing glass allowed for maximum visual exposure without increasing the cooling load of the building. The design utilized Honda’s ‘kit-of-parts’ in an unconventional way to meet the Owner’s modern sensibilities while satisfying corporate prototype requirements.
