In a commentary for The Dallas Morning News, Oak Lawn Committee President Adam Murphy points to 4211 Newton Avenue as an example of development strengthened by community engagement. Working with M&A Development, Dodd Communications and land use counsel Tommy Mann, our team at GFF Design participated in nearly 10 months of dialogue that led to reduced building height, design refinements and additional community protections. The revised proposal received unanimous Dallas City Council approval with no speakers in opposition. Murphy credits the outcome to a process built on listening, a willingness to revise and sustained collaboration between the project team and its neighbors.
