Portrait of a GFFer: Marissa Clinesmith

Meet Marissa Clinesmith! Marissa joined us in 2019 and is a Project Coordinator!

“My favorite thing about GFF is there are always opportunities here, with a wide variety of studios. It’s amazing to see all the types of projects in one office. As a student intern, I was so happy to return to GFF and I have always felt supported by my team to grow my career here! I love our work life balance, the support for the ARE studies, and my amazing coworkers who are dear friends!”

Outside of work, Marissa is involved in the AIA Fort Worth chapter Board of Directors as Director at Large, which she says has been an amazing opportunity to be more involved in the Fort Worth architecture scene- especially with the TxA conference coming to town this November 2023! She is also involved in the Fort Worth Construction Specification Institute (CSI) chapter and has her Construction Document Technologist (CDT) certification. She loves meeting people involved in the architecture and construction industry. If she isn’t doing something architecture related, she is at home with her husband and their four cats. They host pool parties, volunteer at their local winery, work cattle, and travel across Texas to see friends and family!

A fun fact about is Marissa is that she loves to travel, she has been to India and backpacked through Europe! She also has a family cabin in Ontario where she found the “How to Build a Cabin 101” book her grandfather used to build it.

Thank you for all that you do Marissa, we are so lucky to have you!
