Donald R. Kubala is an Associate Principal with GFF, Inc

Mr. Kubala became a registered architect in 1986 and his extensive experience includes retail, office, and most especially, educational and religious projects. Don earned a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A & M University in 1982 and, shortly thereafter, he joined GFF where he quickly assumed the responsibilities of Project Architect. In 1998, he was named an Associate Principal.

Don was honored for his service to the profession with the Texas Society of Architects’ William W. Caudill Award for Young Professional Achievement in 1996 and with the Dallas Chapter/AIA’s Young Architect of the Year Award in 1991. A longtime community volunteer, he mentors at-risk Hispanic students at Trinity River Mission in West Dallas. Don also serves as a Lector at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
