St. Monica Catholic School – Campus Master Plan

Dallas, Texas

St. Monica Catholic School, located on a 10.8-acre site , engaged GFF to create a new campus master plan that addresses the school’s evolving needs. The master plan included recommendations for updating and replacing selected facilities, with a focus on integrating the existing Pre-School with the main campus, updating classroom wings, creating additional meeting room space, and consolidating church and school offices into a single location.

The design emphasized creating a new atrium entrance to enhance campus security while providing an architecturally unifying element that integrates older classroom buildings with more recent additions. Additionally, new enclosed links were proposed to connect all classroom wings into a single enclosed and secured environment. All existing classrooms were  updated, with direct access to two outdoor learning courtyards designed to enhance science and art education.

These improvements aim to create a cohesive and secure environment that fosters both academic and community growth.
