Lakewood Country Club

Dallas, Texas

Established in 1914, Lakewood Country Club embarked on the “South Project” to appeal to the growing social (pool/tennis) membership group without encroaching upon the golf course. This project is comprised of three components: a 230-space underground parking garage whose roof serves as eight new tennis courts, a new pool area with four swimming areas and a fountain, and an expansion of the existing tennis/pool building, including a remodel of all interior spaces and a new locker area.

The design addresses the need to enhance the club’s social amenities while preserving its historic golf course. By integrating the underground parking garage with tennis courts on the roof, the project maximizes space efficiency and maintains the club’s aesthetic appeal. The new pool area and expanded tennis/pool building provide modern, inviting spaces for members to enjoy, enhancing the overall experience at Lakewood Country Club. The thoughtful design ensures that these new facilities blend seamlessly with the existing environment, offering an upgraded and cohesive experience for all members.
