Aaron Hunt joined GFF in 2023 with a portfolio of achievements assembled over 25 years in New York, California, Texas, and Colorado. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Austin where he participated in the School of Architecture’s Professional Residency Program (PRP). Through the PRP, Aaron secured the institution’s first internship at TenBerke—one completed alongside a weekend job fabricating steel components in the Brooklyn Navy Yards. These formative years were followed by experience that included construction administration for a high-rise office building in San Francisco, the detailing of museum-quality residences in Austin, and everything from conceptual design to quality management for mixed-use/multifamily developments in Denver. Civic, education, build-to-suit office, adaptive reuse, and furniture design projects have been interspersed throughout his career as well.
As a strategic thinker, Aaron is incredibly effective at aligning people, systems, and resources. Winning is a massive driver, he approaches life with an anything-is-possible attitude, and shaping a scalable future is always a priority. Additionally, Aaron is a performance coach—hardwired and formally trained to deepen the learning and forward the action of those within his sphere of influence. As the Managing Director of GFF Fort Worth, Aaron helps place makers achieve their goals through an entrepreneurial spirit, an ownership mindset, and a heart for developing people.
