West 7th

Fort Worth, Texas

Located in the Fort Worth Cultural District, directly across University Drive from Tadao Ando’s The Modern Art Museum, this project is a genuine urban mixed use redevelopment: office, retail, grocery, residential, theater, health club and a hotel are organized on five city blocks once occupied by the Acme Brick Company. The 900,000 SF complex reestablishes West 7th Street as an important entertainment and shopping district.

The architecture of the district is an eclectic blend of lifestyle storefronts and modern styling with materials that have historically characterized the West 7th and Camp Bowie corners. Crockett Street, which parallels West 7th one block to the south, serves as the central promenade for the development. It is lined with buildings of five to six stories in height, with retail on the ground floor and residential, office and parking uses stacked above.

The office tower achieved a LEED Silver rating under the CS (Core & Shell) rating system.
