Veritex Bank Garland

Veritex Community Bank engaged GFF to design a new location for one of the bank’s most active branches. Located on a full city block along Main Street in downtown Garland, just a few blocks west of the Garland City Square, the 9,200 SF building, parking accommodations and drive-through were carefully designed to resonate with the scale and form of nearby historic structures and reinforce the City’s vision for a revitalized downtown neighborhood. On-street parking, street trees, and ample sidewalks encourage a walkable pedestrian-oriented environment. The building design features clean lines and a contemporary material palette of honed limestone, gray metal, and dark wood tones. An open plan, glass walls, and generously sized windows provide abundant natural light throughout the interiors, while also promoting community engagement and symbolically reinforcing the value of transparency.
