The University of Texas – Pan American Campus Master Plan Update

Edinburg, Texas

Two master plan updates were undertaken to provide this university in the Lower Rio Grande Valley with a campus development plan which could serve as a flexible framework for decision-making for 20 years, and to direct growth toward an enrollment of 37,000 students. The scope included prediction of future building needs, location of future building sites, and recommendations for building renovation or replacement. We also developed a strategy for land acquisition, defined aesthetic values which govern campus architecture and landscape, and positioned roadways, pathways, parking, and utilities.
