The Cooper

The Cooper is located at Rosedale Avenue and Washington Street in Near Southside, a walkable mixed-use area just south of downtown Fort Worth. The development will offer 390 units in a 5-story wrap style building that spans two residential blocks.

The project’s primary frontage is along Rosedale Avenue, a major gateway into the Fort Worth Medical District. Washington Street bisects the property into two separate block and has been partially vacated and renovated as a pedestrian friendly mews street to allow for units and a pedestrian bridge to span over the street.

GFF assisted Lang Partners in the rezoning of the property to allow for an increased building height. As part of that effort GFF presented the design to and won the support of Near Southside, Inc., an organization that is dedicated to revitalizing Near Southside using good urban design principles.
