St. Paul’s Episcopal Church & School Master Plan

St.Paul’s Episcopal Church of Prosper engaged GFF Architects to master plan and design their new campus located on a 7 acre site on the Southwest corner of Coit Road and First Street in Prosper, Texas. The new facility will function as a day school during the week and church facility n
the weekends. The master plan includes a 250-seat multi-purpose worship space, children’s education space, as well as indoor and outdoor community gathering spaces. Future campus additions include a new worship space for 350, outdoor play areas and expanded children’s education
space. After several meetings with the church, three main themes were revealed; community inclusiveness, natural light and simple materials. The use of light toned plaster and natural stone maintain the material simplicity requested, while the use of colonnade wrapped courtyards and light filled worship spaces reflect the sense of community and openness.
