Sewell Odessa Ford-Lincoln

Sewell Family of Dealerships approached GFF to reorganize and unify Sewell’s current Odessa Ford-Lincoln facilities into a 200,000 SF multi-brand dealership campus on 28 acres in the Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. The program calls for organizing four dealer brands and associated support facilities on a single site, while maintaining the individual identities of each dealership. GFF’s master plan utilizes a linear organizational arrangement with landscaping as the threading device. The parti successfully organizes and links the four dealerships along a tree-lined boulevard and arranges support facilities along a central internal axis. The design aims to create a strong sense of place and an oasis within the expansive and arid west Texas landscape.
Natural limestone veneer, quarried regionally, and clay tile roofs are used to clad and roof specific elements on each building. Painted and textured tilt-up concrete is the primary construction of all buildings.
