Navarro College–Midlothian – Campus Master Plan

Midlothian, Texas

GFF prepared a master plan to guide the expansion of Navarro College to Midlothian on a strategic 43-acre site owned by the City. The partnership between the college and the City will result in a multi-phase joint-use campus for classrooms, a library, performing arts, senior activities, and a conference center amidst a heavily tree-lined creek site. The first phase of construction included a 25,000 square foot, two-story classroom building. Phase 2, now under design, will include a second 25,000 square foot classroom building and a new outdoor amphitheater.

Navarro College’s mission is to provide educational opportunities that empower students to achieve their academic and career goals. This master plan supports the college’s mission by strategically expanding the campus to offer diverse learning and community spaces. The new classroom buildings enhance the academic environment, while the planned library and performing arts facilities will enrich cultural and educational experiences. The incorporation of senior activities and a conference center fosters community engagement, and the new outdoor amphitheater will provide a unique venue for events and performances. The campus’s design, harmoniously integrated with the natural creek site, creates an inspiring setting for education and community activities.
