Injecting life into Dallas-Fort Worth’s first power center, this redevelopment of Market East renovates 300,000 SF of retail shops in two phases. New warm tactile materials and colors are accented with steel and colored glass throughout to create a modern update to a center built in the mid-1980’s. At the heart of the revitalization, the old Target store will be demolished to make room for a new SuperTarget Center. Creating a more pedestrian-friendly environment by softening the hardscape between the parking lot and storefronts, the renovation includes adding stained concrete, upgrades to the landscape, new signage package and a public art sculpture program.
