Magnolia Heights is a 150-unit luxury mixed-use project located in the city of Alamo Heights, just north of San Antonio. This project sits at the convergence of Austin Highway and Broadway thus serving as a gateway to Alamo Heights. The traditional Spanish-California style architecture was designed by local San Antonio architects, Overland Partners, and features bay windows and soaring ceiling heights that provide a resident experience like no other. GFF served as the Architect-of-Record for this project. The ground floor retail balances the residential amenity spaces such as a world-class fitness center, spacious club room, and a pool courtyard shaded by local landscaping and trellises. The project with its boomerang shape allows for vast views of downtown San Antonio. Valet parking and a below grade parking garage allow the project to meet the ground and create 2 intimate courtyards in addition to the larger courtyard with sparkling clear pool. The project sweeps around an existing parkland area that was left undisturbed due to its historic role in Alamo Heights complete with a historic marker of the San Antonio Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
