As the Director of Marketing, Jillian Kohl is responsible for overseeing GFF’s marketing efforts both internally and externally. Working closely with upper management and the Marketing Team, she works to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to further the GFF brand. Jillian’s areas of responsibility include preparation and execution of RFQ and RFP responses, presentations and interviews, digital marketing, social media, budget management and firmwide events. With the leadership skills she has developed at GFF, Jillian values a collaborative environment within the Marketing Team, fostering open communication, encouraging teamwork, and leveraging the strengths of each team member to drive successful marketing initiatives. Her strong organizational skills and adeptness at managing multiple deadlines and initiatives simultaneously allow her to effectively prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and ensure that marketing projects are executed seamlessly and on time.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minor in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas in Houston in 2004 and in 2016 she received her Graduate Marketing Certificate from SMU’s Cox School of Business. Jillian is passionate about animals and enjoys volunteering with Dallas Animal Services (DAS) as a dog foster. She joined GFF in 2008 and was named Associate in 2017.
