Heritage Plaza Landscape

One block west of the San Antonio Riverwalk, GFF Architecture and GFF Landscape combined with Cypress Real Estate Advisors to transform the site of an outdated municipal building into a 5-story, 341-unit mixed-use complex complete with ground-level retail spaces and vast interior amenity courtyard.  The new building’s unique shape responds to an existing mid-block historic property on Dwyer Avenue, and the streetscape is activated for pedestrian use by adding rich plantings, variations in paving texture and color, and seating and lighting enhancements.  Within the courtyard, an overhead shade structure shelters an outdoor kitchen area equipped with grilling stations and bar seating, and a game area with swinging seating and string lights.  A 2800 SF pool with lounge shelf and dipping spas anchors the courtyard, while lounge seating, fire pits, and private cabanas provide space to relax and socialize.
