Harris Creek Baptist Church

GFF was engaged by Harris Creek Baptist Church to design a 29,000 square foot expansion to their existing facility in Waco, TX. The expansion consists of a 1000-seat Worship venue and common area, as well as outdoor community gathering spaces. Concrete form liner defines the perimeter of the Worship volume, both on the exterior of the building and inside the common area. Wood-paneled accent walls and ceiling “clouds” add warmth to the space. Outside, an outdoor plaza connects to a water feature which acts both as a baptistry and children’s splash pad.
