Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss

The newly redesigned Fort Bliss Lifestyle Center transforms from a shopping center into a signature lifestyle environment.

Relaxed shopping and casual dining frame the center of daily activities where soldiers and their families can truly live, work and play. Retail services and merchants are arranged along plazas, resulting in a warm, friendly and comfortable place. Storefronts and deep canopies capture the rich architectural history of Fort Bliss and El Paso; incorporate a soft material palette including: native stone, red masonry, EIFS and metal panels.

Landscape and hardscape embrace the native desert, incorporating succulents, boulders and fountains with colored concrete and pavers in patterns referencing a river bed theme; tile roofs and deep canopies protect against the desert sun. The venue has 489,400 SF of GLA and includes a Post Exchange, AAFES Services, retail, restaurant, cinema and fitness center. The project is designed to attain LEED Silver Certification.
