First Baptist Church Decatur

First Baptist Church Decatur engaged GFF to design a new 22,770 SF Children’s Education building for their campus in Decatur, Texas. The Kidz Ministries at FBC strives to provide a “safe, loving environment where kids grow to love Jesus!” Ministries encompass a variety of learning experiences for children of all ages including infants through 6th grade. The new facility will provide a safe and secure environment that includes a large check-in area with direct access to indoor play. Generously apportioned passageways provide ease of access to classrooms while creating informal gathering spaces for teaching and play. Larger groups can assemble for Children’s worship in a state of the art auditorium that will accommodate approximately 245 kids. The entire space is infused with color, which helps create a fun, stimulating environment that gets kids excited about going to church.
