David Dumas is an Associate Principal with GFF, Inc

David graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University in 1997 and immediately joined the GFF team. His 20+ years of professional experience includes a wide variety of project types ranging from corporate, multifamily, civic and retail with a specialty in institutional and educational facilities. David is a strong project manager with expertise in code analysis, technical detailing, specifications and construction administration. He enjoys the process of architecture and the collaborative teamwork necessary to complete complex project types. Additionally, his communication skills and understanding of the special considerations associated with renovation/addition projects on a school campus have resulted in long-term relationships with prestigious clients such as The Hockaday School. The Centennial Center at The Hockaday School, which David managed, was recently completed and included both a state of the art STEAM based Science facility and a teaching based Center for the Arts.



Last week GFF installed our exhibit for the 2018 AIA RETROSPECT in NorthPark Mall and it is displayed with a number of other exhibits designed by architecture firms in Dallas.  RETROSPECT is a public outreach event designed to promote architects, architecture, and activities within the community.  The exhibit demonstrates how architects lead efforts to make…
