As part of a multi-phase renovation effort, the Dallas Zoo asked GFF Landscape to prepare a fresh, updated conceptual design for the Sumatran Tiger Exhibit. The Zoo requested that the new exhibit maximize tiger viewing opportunities, refresh plantings, and provide a venue for donor events. The final design is anchored at a new viewing pavilion with three glass walls, allowing for maximum visitor interaction during tiger training shows and fundraising events. Two lushly revegetated habitats with expanded pond features replace the current exhibit, allowing more tigers to be on display at once, and a revamped visitor trail winds from the new pavilion back to the existing indoor exhibit building, providing viewing corridors and information stations along the way.
