Clearfork Office Building

Fort Worth, Texas

Cassco Development Co. commissioned GFF to design a pair of office towers and shared structured parking for a 12-acre site at the northwest corner of the newly opened Chisholm Trail Parkway and Clearfork Main Street in Clearfork.

The first of the twin six-story towers encompasses approximately 170,000 square feet of Class A office space. Smith and Nephew, a global medical technology business, occupies two of the six floors upon completion, totaling 50,000 square feet. Additional office space is available for lease through JLL.

The concrete frame structure is clad in high-efficiency glass, brick, and Texas limestone. A precast concrete parking garage provides parking for the two towers. The first tower was completed in August 2016, with Austin Industries serving as the general contractor and Woodbine Development managing the project for Cassco. RLG Consulting Engineers designed the structure, Schmidt & Stacy provided mechanical and electrical engineering, Peloton Land Solutions handled civil engineering services, and Bowen Landscape provided landscape design.

This project marks Cassco’s second assignment for GFF, which now has full-service offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. GFF also designed the 12,000 square foot Trailhead Cycle and Fitness building, completed by Muckleroy & Falls Construction. Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop and Pedal Hard Training are operational, and Press Café, which opened in early January 2016, provides a casual dining spot with floor-to-ceiling windows and a rooftop bar, enhancing the overall fitness and leisure experience at The Trailhead.
