Church on Rush Creek Mira Lagos Master Plan

GFF has been engaged by The Church on Rush Creek to update the Master Plan for their existing Mira Lagos campus, serving the Grand Prairie and Mansfield communities. Phase 1 of the Master Plan implementation includes extending the existing common gathering area which will connect to additional children’s classrooms and a new 750-seat Worship Center. Brightly colored fiber cement paneling combined with natural materials such as stone and wood cladding add vibrancy to the campus and take their cues from the surrounding site, which is adjacent to Joe Pool Lake. Inside, the newly-expanded common area will provide space for families to gather before and after services, as well as during the week. Many of the exterior materials have been carried through to the interior for continuity and reinforce the visual connection to the outdoors. Features such as landscaped patios and nature trails allow congregants additional opportunities to gather and experience the amenities of the campus, both inside and out.
