Chase Oaks Church, a longtime client of GFF’s decided to launch the Local Good Center with four primary initiatives: address issues of advocacy, health and nutrition services, education, and job creation. The 13,000-lease space was remodeled to include kid’s classrooms, educational classrooms for adults, a community room, a health food market, and a training kitchen. The training kitchen is to teach healthy cooking classes focused on preventive care and the food market allows students in their cooking classes and preventative healthcare programs to shop for healthy foods for free. The space was designed to be bright, fun, and flexible to support their varied programs for adults and children.
