This 550-acre master planned development for corporate and retail businesses along the State Highway 114 corridor is strategically located in the center of the “aero-tropolis” between DFW and Alliance Airports. Designed for high visibility and a fast paced business atmosphere, the plan balances this energy with a goal to preserve the natural character of the site. Detailed analysis of topography and vegetation was the basis for land use decisions for all three tracts. Development guidelines, written to ensure that the desired character will be achieved, included Planned Development zoning, a Codes Covenants and Restrictions document, and the “Vision Book.” The plan received an award from Texas Section of ASLA.
