Dallas, Texas
The latest addition to the Dallas Arts District is the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office Pavilion, a 1,366 square foot glass pavilion that serves as a ticketing venue, an AT&T experience wall, and a small café. Easily accessible from Flora Street, this pavilion enhances the visitor experience with both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Located on the west end of Sammons Plaza, the pavilion incorporates the stair tower and mechanical vent shaft for the existing Red Parking Garage below. Designed to be viewed from all sides, the structure features floor-to-ceiling transparent glass on three sides facing the plaza, while the west wall and roof are finished with opaque glass to provide a visually appealing surface and necessary solar protection.
The pavilion was designed by Foster + Partners, with GFF serving as the Architect of Record. This project exemplifies the blend of innovative design and practical functionality, contributing to the dynamic environment of the Dallas Arts District.
