Portrait of a GFFer: Russell Hagg

Meet Russell, a third generation Dallasite, whose passion outside of architecture is adult education and teaching adults to read. He joined the Interiors Team in 2009 and is an Associate Principal here at GFF. Read below for more about Russell!

  1. Hobby:  Painting.  I donate most of my paintings to charity events for fundraising.
  1. Travel:  My favorite thing to do. I have been to 5 of the 7 continents.
  1. Sports:  Huge tennis fan!  Half-way to a spectator’s grand slam.  I have attended the finals of the US Open and French Open.  Planning trips to the Australian Open and then to Wimbledon.
  1. Food:  Tex-Mex.
  1. Favorite city outside of Dallas:  Barcelona.
  1. Something most people don’t know:  I went tandem paragliding off the side of a mountain in the Andes.
  1. Something else most people don’t know: I enjoying fishing.
  1. Coke or Dr. Pepper:  Neither, I’m caffeine free – not counting chocolate.
  1. Books:  Anything suspenseful. I typically read two books a month.
  1. Biggest fear:  Spiders, seriously.
