Portrait of a GFFer: Morgan Harrison

Meet Morgan Harrison. She has been with GFF just under a year and is a Senior Project Coordinator in the Church Studio. Morgan did her undergrad at Denison University, then went on to get her MFA at SCAD and a Masters of Architecture at Texas A&M. Read more about Morgan below!

  1. I’m an only child, but I’ve had the same best friend my entire life.  We grew up together and are like sisters (even though she already has two sisters of her own).  Her little boy is my “nephew.”
  2. I’ve been to eleven other countries and I’m still counting.
  3. My favorite place to be in the United States is Taos, NM, where I can ski in the winter and hike in the summer.  My family built a house there while I was in college.
  4. I have two cats that I rescued – Chairman Mao and Vera.
  5. I participate in the Episcopal School of Dallas summer alumni theater productions.  This summer we did Little Shop of Horrors.
  6. I played the violin for 13 years while growing up.
  7. I was in an a cappella group in college called Ladies Night Out.
  8. My artistic hobbies, other than theater and singing, include painting and photography.
  9. I believe in and use the Oxford comma.
  10. At my first job out of graduate school I researched, wrote, and picked all of the images for the historic panels along Military Walk at Texas A&M.  (This sentence is an example of fact #9.)
