Meet Chad, a graduate of UTA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Architecture. He later received his MBA from the University of Kansas-RCJH. Read more about Chad below!

  1. I was born in Mississippi. I have lived in Virginia, DC, Kansas, and of course Fort Worth, Texas
  1. My wife, Kathleen, and I have been together for 23 years. We will celebrate 15 years of marriage this year. We have two children; Claire (11), and Andrew (6)
  1. Recently, I have been interested in researching  my family’s genealogy. With a name like Kyzar it is easy enough. So far I have been able to trace back to my 7th Great grandfather in 17Th century Germany.
  1. I have a slight obsession with small black sketchbooks (Moleskin), pocket knives (Case), and pens (Mont Blanc and Retro 51 Tornado)- All can be found on me at any given time.
  1. Forget autographs-I like to bump into celebrities, literally. So far; Randy White, Roger Staubach, Drake, Mario Lopez and Danny Bonaduce (2 for 1), Jason Garret, Danny Manning, Bill Self, Gayle Sayers, Dr. Phil, the Old 97’s, Miss Piggy and various KU athletes.
  1. I was an Art Director for a small local newspaper before I went back to college for an MArch.
  1. “Being different isn’t always good, being good is usually different enough.”
  1. I could live only on Caprese, tacos, and sushi.
  1. There is a cabin in the mountains of Ruidoso, NM we like to go to as often as possible.
  1. As a child the first dream I remember having – which I think directly contributes to where I am today – was to one day build a house and everything in it, by hand, by myself.
