Portrait of a GFFer: Harrison Daigle

Meet Harrison Daigle. Harrison received his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University. Harrison recently moved to Dallas from Nashville, Tennessee and joined GFF’s Church Works Studio. Read below for more about Harrison!

  1. Originally from Johnson City (of Wagon Wheel fame), I moved to Franklin, TN before starting first grade.
  2. Exploring some familial Cajun roots, I attended LSU. While I enjoyed living “down the Bayou,” the family gumbo recipe still eludes me.
  3. During my time in Baton Rouge, I was part of a men’s a cappella group, singing Tenor I.
  4. I am a fervent podcast listener and have about 20 I listen to regularly. Current show obsession: Twenty Thousand Hertz.
  5. I ran my first Spartan obstacle course race in 2015 and completed a trifecta last year.
  6. Currently training for my first triathlon in July, I can be found biking around White Rock Lake with my girlfriend in my free time.
  7. For a less strenuous activity, I enjoy putting together jigsaw puzzles. Of course, most of the subjects tend to be medieval architecture and landscapes. Currently on the table is a Venetian cityscape.
  8. I am an avid traveler and have been known to zoom around Google Earth looking for travel inspiration.
  9. Although I’m enjoying my time in Dallas, I miss running around my family’s farm with our Doberman, Belle.
  10. I recently discovered how difficult it is to get a late fee at the Dallas Library. The system keeps auto renewing my checkouts!
