Portrait of a GFFer: Eduardo Balderrama

Meet Eduardo, a graduate of Texas Tech University. When he is not in the GFF office, you can find Eduardo traveling the world. See below for some of his top destinations and more facts about Eduardo!

  1. Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Moved to El Paso, TX when I was 18 years old and attended the University of Texas at El Paso. Then moved to Lubbock, Texas to finish my Bachelors and Masters at Texas Tech University.
  2. One on my favorite hobbies is to travel and learn new cultures. I want to travel all over the world, but high on my bucket list are Brazil, Peru, Bora Bora and South Korea.
  3. I enjoy a wide range of activities, from hiking to museums. My favorite museums so far are: MoMa and The British Museum.
  4. My favorite food is Tacos, but the legit ones. I am a foody and not afraid of trying any type of food.
  5. Favorite movies: El violin, Y tu mama tambien, Lion King, Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump. Favorite bands/artists: Café Tacuba, Los amigos invisibles, Natalia Lafourcade, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles.
  6. Procrastinator by nature.
  7. Favorite sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Racquetball. In high school during a small time I was drafted in my home state’s basketball team,  that was a big deal for me although I didn’t play much.
  8. I am color blind and have good memory. I can remember tons of unusable facts. I am also a little bit of a clean freak.
  9. My happy place is the beach.
